Merry Christmas 2023
On this, the Eve before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse... I am now telling myself to stop reciting poems and paraphrasing Christmas carols!
It's been an amazing year so far but it's not over yet, at least not for us.
But I can't help to think of all the other people, in this country and around the world who are not as lucky as we are and won't be opening gifts tomorrow or be surrounded by family and loved ones.
I don't want to keep you long... but I did want to say from the bottom of our hearts...
MERRY CHRISTMAS - WE HOPE YOU ARE WARM, SAFE AND WELL...
Remember, Christmas doesn't have to be what social media portrays. It can be quiet, low key and humble. It can be whatever you want it to be.
I can't remember a single present I received as a child. What I can remember is the feeling of happiness and contentment, being surrounded by everything money can't buy.
