First Time Here? Start Here 🤝
Welcome to Our Spectrum Adventures. The place for real life stories of a life less ordinary.
Quick Note: We recently moved our website from Ghost to Substack. So if you think it all looks very different you wouldn’t be wrong. But it’s still the same us! If you were previously subscribed on our website, you are automatically subscribed here too.
I’m so pleased you're here!
I’m going to keep the introduction brief, but needless to say, we have a lot to talk about. What I want to do with this website/substack is give you something that is both entertaining and enlightening. Inspire you to set the bar high but also achievable. Adventure isn’t about comparing yourself to others but rather challenging yourself individually. This is exactly what we are all about! The journey is what matters and the growth from the challenges along the way. I hope you will come along with us for the ride so we can both learn from each other! This will be the start of something wonderful for both of us!
What do we talk about?
We talk about the great outdoors and write about our less-than-ordinary lives. We love to buck trends and blaze our own path through life. We are not your everyday family!
What I really would like to do, however, is help you avoid the pitfalls we have fallen into and give you an unfiltered and pragmatic insight into what we do, how we do it and why!
Why should you subscribe?
In this little corner of the internet, we talk about what we do and how we do it, from the nitty-gritty to the big successes, and help you avoid the same mistakes we have made.
We are not wealthy, nor have we left high-paying jobs to pursue Instagram-worthy photo opportunities to get a quick ‘Like’ on social media. We have no intention of trying to portray the image of a perfect life!
We are the same as you, struggling to do the best we can, with what little we have. It’s an overused metaphor: “If we can do it, so can you." However, I feel this is genuinely true for us.
